From the RMBG website: "The Rocky Mountain Botanic Gardens features native plants of Colorado from five ecological zones: Prairie Grasslands, Foothills, Montane, Southwest, and Riparian. Created and maintained by community volunteers, we show the beauty and resilience of native plants to inspire gardeners to plant local. We serve as an educational resource so visitors may identify the plants they meet in the Colorado wilds. Our garden is run as a nonprofit with the mission to foster an understanding and an appreciation of Rocky Mountain native plants and wildlife, and to create a place where people can learn and enjoy the peace and beauty of the natural world. RMBG is free and open to visitors every day from dawn until dusk, except in extreme snowy conditions."
