Join us for an overview of home propagation of native plants from seeds. Members will cover what to do with all of those seeds you've picked up from the Wild Ones Front Range seed swaps!
Presenters will include Zoe Turin, Eric Johnson, Tom Kraus, Ron Martin, and Mike Artmann.
Topics to be covered include:
-A brief introduction to Jan Midgley's Germination Guide
-Media ("soil") to use
-Personal growth as a propagator: you, too, will get better over time!
-Direct seeding larger projects
-Scarification (treatments for tricky seed coats)
-Stratification (overcoming seed dormancy)
